Our Mission Statement

The Kern County Black Chamber serves as an advocate for the creation, development and general economic growth of its members and the African American businesses in the Kern County Area.

Starting in May 2008 we will begin holding committee meeting on Fridays at noon from 12:00 - 1:00 pm. Meetings will be held at the Chamber Office at 1222 California Ave. Meetings will also be accessable via audio conferencing. The phone numbers and access codes are listed below and with the meeting times on the "Upcoming Events" page of this website.

The General schedule will be as follows:

Grantwriting Committee...1st Friday

Events Committee..2nd Friday

Program Committee.. 3rd Friday

Legislative Affairs Committee.. 4th Friday
